Roster Freak Out: Week 3

I wish I could take credit for a thrilling victory in Week 2, but in reality I've got to acknowledge the tremendous amount of luck I had. Who would have figured Stevan Ridley would reprise his old role as a workhorse back and carry 25 times, or that Josh McCown would rush for 2 TDs. I actually had high expectations for Mohamed Sanu, but A.J. Green's injury gave him a huge boost, too. Hopefully all this luck doesn't evaporate!

Dwayne Bowe, what are you even doing ever...
Unfortunately, most of those big performers are now ineligible due to recent waiver wire activity, but I've got a whole new crop of diamonds in the rough for Week 3...

QB: Ryan Tannehill - At home against a mediocre KC defense, the Dolphins may rely on Tannehill's arm even more with Knowshon Moreno out for a while.
WR: Dwayne Bowe - The options at WR look especially unappetizing this week, I wish Sanu was still available. Let's go with Bowe since he's technically the top target still albeit in a KC passing game that's boring beyond belief.
RB: Jacquizz Rodgers - He seems more dynamic on home turf, and maybe the coaching staff starts having him emulate Darren Sproles's receiving role with the Eagles. Or they don't watch football and he gets like 5 carries and no targets, wasting his potential.
TE: Heath Miller - Carolina's D is nasty, and I expect Big Ben will need to make safer throws; Heath Bar due for a TD.
W/T: Jared Cook - Yup, back to the well with Cook. Dallas has allowed huge days to opposing TEs (Vernon Davis and Delanie Walker): it's Cook's turn.
W/R: Miles Austin - Got a bunch of looks with Jordan Cameron out, hopefully he's still injured.
W/R: Andre Holmes - Carr will probably pass it 50 times, so hopefully he'll have more than 20 completions; James Jones will likely be on Revis Island, leaving the Holmes-slice as the best option.
K: Mike Nugent - The Nuge managed to miss 3 field goals last week despite having a career accuracy over 80%. Glad he got those misses out of his system.
DEF: Philadelphia - This will be Kirk Cousins's first road test this year, and expect Philly to challenge him; still don't like Washington's O-line.

Results

QB: Ryan Tannehill - 13.1 points
WR: Dwayne Bowe - 3.2 points
RB: Jacquizz Rodgers - 0.9 points
TE: Heath Miller - 5.1 points
W/T: Jared Cook - 7.5 points
W/R: Miles Austin - 11.1 points
W/R: Andre Holmes - 2.9 points
K: Mike Nugent - 7 points
DEF: Philadelphia - 0 points (never betting against Cousins again!)

TOTAL: 50.8 points

This should've been a loss, but Deals and Steals had a rough week to forget, leaving the RFO at 2-0. We're hitting the bye weeks now, things could get ugly...
