TDZ DangerWire(TM) Update - Week 2

It was a topsy-turvy Week 2 in the NFL: major injuries, last-second drama, broken tackles, and broken html code.

In spite of all the chaos, TDZ has digested it and is ready to shed some light on the bi-product with another round of DangerWire updates.

Aaron Hernandez - TE - New England Patriots
Hernandez left this Sunday's game early with an injury to his left ankle. Julian Edelman, his own teammate, fell on him.
Analysis
I doubt Wes Welker would've landed on him. Still, what happened, happened. Belichick is predictably tight-lipped about the situation, but insiders seem to think it's a high ankle sprain, and the team just signed Kellen Winslow. Abandon hope.

Matt Forte - RB - Chicago Bears
Forte compiled 80 total yards from scrimmage before leaving the game with an ankle injury.
Analysis
It's not reported to be a high ankle sprain. Lucky bastards.

C.J. Spiller - RB - Buffalo Bills
Taking over for Fred Jackson, Spiller raced to 170 total yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs.
Analysis
Buffalonians had something nice to distract them from the fact that they live in upstate New York as Spiller gained yardage at will against a Chiefs defense that's about as stout as RotoWire is insightful. Next up is sister city Cleveland and a team that allowed triple digit yardage to a similar runner in LeSean McCoy. Plug n' play.

Two unrelated updates in one? Yes!

Reggie Bush - RB - Miami Dolphins
Bush went wild against the Raiders, running for 172 yards and 2 TDs on 26 carries.
Analysis
Da Raiders either forgot to make a defensive game-plan that would force rookie Ryan Tannehill to beat them, or they failed to execute to an astonishing degree. Either way, don't forget that Bush had a >200 yard game towards the end of last year, so expect solid returns this year.

Eli Manning - QB - New York Giants
In a shootout with the Buccaneers, Manning emerged victorious, gun-slinging for 510 yards and 3 TDs to offset 3 INTs.
Analysis
As is expected at this point, 2 of the TDs were in the fourth quarter to put the Giants back on top. With Ahmad Bradshaw succumbing to a neck injury of unknown severity, the Giants may rely on Eli even more should Andre "Rando" Brown and David "Sobs" Wilson not get the job done in "Balsa Wood's" stead.

Danny Amendola - WR - St. Louis Rams
Returning from injury this year, Amendola has reasserted himself as Sam Bradford's go-to target, hauling in 15 passes for 160 yards and a TD.
Analysis
Amendola had more receptions than all other Rams players combined (11). Either Bradford has the QB version of Aspergers, or Amendola's just that good at catching the ball.

Joe Flacco - QB - Baltimore Ravens
Against the Eagles on Sunday, Flacco was 22-42 for 232 yards, a TD, and a pair of turnovers (INT, fumble lost).
Analysis
Hint: If you constantly need to "remind" people that you're an elite QB, you're not an elite QB. Stream him during bye weeks, otherwise he's worth a borderline bench spot.

Chris Johnson - RB - Tennessee Titans
Johnson disappointed for the second consecutive week, gaining just 17 yards on 8 carries. He tacked on just 2 catches for 11 more yards.
